Dr Aidonis was born in 1971 in Thessaloniki and graduated from the Medical Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He began the specialty of Otolaryngology in Great Britain, where he was educated in the following hospitals:
• Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton
• Milton Keynes General Hospital και Royal Wolverhampton Hospital, Birmingham.
In the frames of further training, he was scientific partner of Otolaryngology and Surgical Head and Neck, in the University of Virginia, Richmond, U.S.A.
He had also further education and extra specialty in Otology and Otosurgery in two big Brtitish University Hospitals: Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge και Institute of Laryngology and Otology, UCL, London.
In 2000 he received his Diploma of Laryngology and Otology (Royal College of Surgeons of England) and in 2005 he was a PhD awarded from the Medical Department of The Aristotle Univeristy of Thessaloniki.
He has been a lecturer teaching students of the Medical Department of Thessaloniki and also a scientific partner in Otolaryngology in several clinics in Thessaloniki.
He has a wide scientific work regarding participation and personal announcements in both greek and international conferences, as well as education of specialized doctors and work as an instructor in several medical seminars.
He has participated in the writing of an important number of scientific books and has numerous publications in both greek and international scientific magazins.
