Travelers from Germany, USA and UK classify Greece as one of the safest and most popular holiday destinations for 2016, according to an independent British Censuswide survey on behalf of SETE Intelligence.
The survey was conducted from 21 to January 25, 2016 on a sample of 3046 respondents from these three markets, who have visited or are considering to visit our country.
One in three respondents said they would like to travel to Greece in 2016 and 73-80% of respondents consider it a safe holiday destination.
Only 10% of respondents said that the recent terrorist attacks will deter them from travelling to Greece in 2016.
Furthermore, it seems that the immigration/refugee crisis affects travel habits, since the image of Greece has been less affected by Turkey, but more than Italy and Spain.
