Dr. Zambacos graduated from medical school at the University of Athens in 1992 and undertook specialist training in several hospitals in Athens and in England within Aesthetic surgery, cosmetic breast surgery and breast reconstruction, hand surgery and skin cancer surgery.
Thereafter he worked as assistant director in the plastic surgery department at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth and the Royal London Hospital (1999-2002). He runs since 2003 a private plastic surgery practice in Greece.
Dr. Zambacos has published more than 100 articles in international scientific journals, is an independent associate at the Dermatology Clinic of Athens University and is considered an authority in breast surgery.
