Dr. George A. Argiros was born in Piraeus in 1961, his family originally coming from Santorini-Cyclades.
He graduated from Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki in 1986.
Having completed his Military Service he started Surgical Specialty Residence at the NIMTS Hospital of Athens in 1989.
Two years later he moved to the UK where he continued his Residence at the John Radcliffe Hospital of Oxford, at the Burnley General Hospital and at the Teaching Leicester General Hospital for three years.
Subsequently he worked as Registrar at the Cheltenham General Hospital in a Unit with special interest in Breast and thyroid surgery for two and a half years.
He returned to Greece in 1998 and worked at the private sector.
He has obtained a remarkable experience at Breast, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Varicose Veins, Laparoscopic and Anal Disorders Surgery as well as every kind of Hernias of the Abdominal wall.
He is married with two children.
