Dr.Tsiga is a General Practitioner. She was born and raised at Trikala, Greece and graduated of the Department of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2004. She trained in General Medicine in G. Papanikolaou General Hospital of Thessaloniki and she is specialist in General Medicine since 2010.
She has a PhD in Medical Decision Making and Patient Safety (2015), and a Master in Medical Research Methodology (2006) from the Department of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2010 she is working as a research fellow at ORCAB European Research Project (Improving Quality and Safety in the Hospital: the Link Between Organisational Culture, Burnout and Quality of Care). She has a great teaching experience on Communication Skills and Clinical Skills Training at medical students since 2004. Her interests are oriented in doctor-patient relationship and the importance of human communication in the prevention of chronic illness.
She is a founding member of the ‘’Greek Society for the Study of Behavior and Communication in Health Care’’ and a member of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS).
Dr Tsiga worked as a General Practitioner in the National Health System and she is currently working in private surgery in Thessaloniki.
