Dr. Atmatzidis was born in 1972 in Thessaloniki and is an anesthesiologist at Thessaloniki Bioclinic Hospital.
He received his Medical Degree from the University of Thessaloniki as a Military Doctor of the Greek Military School in 1996.
He started his residency in anesthesiology at 424General Military Hospital and became specialist at Ippokratio General Hospital of Thessaloniki in 2004. Since then, he practiced at 424 General Military Hospital and in several private clinics. He is an active member of the Greek and the European Society of Anaesthesiologists and has trained in prehospital emergency care.
He is certified BLS-AED provider and instructor (Basic Life Support) and ALS provider and instructor (Advanced Life support) of the European Resuscitation Council.
