Dr. Kontouli attained her medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She got specialized in pediatrics at the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of Aristotle university of Thessaloniki and obtained her degree in pediatrics on 2006.
She got further specialized in Pediatric Pulmonology at the 3rd Pediatric Pulmonary Department of Thessaloniki. She attained her PhD Diploma in Pediatric Pulmonology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on 2013.
Since 2006 she is a scientific associate and medical consultant at the 3rd Pediatric Pulmonary Department of Thessaloniki. She is an active member of the Pediatric Pulmonary Team responsible for evaluation, management and follow up of children with chronic pulmonary diseases.
She is a scientific consultant at the Pulmonary Physiology Unit regarding cardiopulmonary exercise test in children. Cardiopulmonary exercise test is a scientific field in which she got special education and experience and she either performed or had the medical observation in more than 1000 exercise tests in children. She is also training students and doctors in Pediatric Pulmonology.
She has participated in published scientific papers, lectures, announcements and attended several conferences worldwide.
She is an active member of Thessaloniki Medical Association, the Greek Pediatric Society, the Greek Pediatric Society in northern Greece, the Greek Pediatric Pulmonology Society and the National Pediatric Association.
She has a Private Pediatric Practice in Thessaloniki from 2006 until now.
