Dr. Tachtaras was born in 1974 in Melbourne.
He graduated from Greek Military Medical School of Thessaloniki in 1992.
The following years, he completed his residency in general surgery at 401 General Military Hospital and General Public Hospital of Athens .
He is specialist in General Surgery since 2008 and he is currently working in Norrland University Hospital, Sweden.
