Dr. Moraitis attained his medical degree from Athens University School of Medicine and performed his Residency in General Surgery at New York Medical College. Thereafter he joined the Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in N.Y.
He is an active member in the American Society of Head and Neck Surgery, The American College of Surgeons and a fellow in Otolaryngology at Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Great Bretagne. Dr. Moraitis is a certified surgeon from the American Board of Surgery since 2004.
Dr. Moraitis has a special scientific interest in endocrine surgery and Head and Neck Surgery.
He has published numerous articles in international scientific journals and is a keynote speaker at several international conferences concerning head and neck oncology.
