Dr. Oikonomou attained his medical degree from Athens University School of Medicine. He got specialized in pediatrics at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens and on 2008 he obtained his specialty’s degree.
Since then he is a scientific associate at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, Children’s Hospital P&A Kyriakou where he is the responsible of the 2nd Pediatric practice. During the office hours he is training undergraduate students of the Medicine School and doctors specialized in pediatrics. He has participated in conferences, talks, lectures, announcements and published papers.
He is a member of Athens Medical Association, of the Greek Pediatric Society, the Greek Academy of Pediatrics, the Greek College of Pediatricians, the Greek Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, the Greek Society of Infectious Diseases, the Greek Society of Hematology and the Greek Society of Pediatric Hematology – Oncology.
